So I got back from turkey last week.
Whilst I was there for the 2 weeks I had no real problems other than severe constipation. I ate what I want which I wouldn’t normally at home and even ate a lot of fruit and salad which I have been avoiding for the last few months.
Whilst out there my family caught stomach bugs which I managed to avoid.
Came home Thursday, ate take away on Friday from a new place which was a big mistake as it was so spicy and I could feel my stomach burning.
Saturday night my husband and I both had diahorrea. Mine carried on through to Sunday then Monday morning then I felt fine. Tuesday I didn’t eat most the day then had a meal in the evening - diahorrea returned. Then nothing Wednesday and today, are 2 meals today and have literally just crap myself (so embarrassing) and run to the toilet with diahorrea again. No pin or anything just watery.
My question is, could this be just from the food and my stomach taking a long time to heal or is it likely I am having a flare. My problem has never really been diahorrea around this extreme and I have mostly been constipated.
What would you do in this case? Am still on the steroid foam however, I had started doing it every other night rather than every night. Should I carry on every night?
Just really upset as I was doing so well and now I’m in the situation where I’m scared to even go out again incase I have an accident
