Hello all,

I have been experiencing some upper back pain following a workout. A general doc I saw suggested Robaxin to treat the muscle and the discomfort. I have some sensitivity to NSAIDS, which is why I don’t make that my go to unless I am in really bad pain. Some info I found indicated that it is a type of NSAID, but other info doesn’t reference it as such. Has anyone used this drug and know of any contraindications for folks with UC?

I have crohns & took Robaxin for several years & never had a problem with it all. It's an older one & really effective. I also liked it because it never made me feel loopy & there are plenty of them out there that can cause this.

You can send your gastro a message to get his/her opinion.

Good luck.

I think a muscle relaxant would be fine. I've never taken one.
