Lab Results after Rinvoq 1 month

Hi everyone,
I was diagnosed with UC 1/2008 at 17 yrs old. I have been on Asacol, Remicade & Stelara over these years.
I had a UC flare start around July 4th weekend. I was on Stelara at the time & was started on Prednisone & Rinvoq early September. I’m not on Stelara anymore.
Labs done 10/24/22
WBC- 14,000 ( unaware of result before or if it was done).
CReactive- 12 (was 25)
& ag ratio 1 point abnormal
Should I be worried? I believe the wbc’s are due to inflammation still on Prednisone . I have not heard from my GI yet.
Any feedback appreciated!!

I looked online & it says steroids can cause elevated WBC. Let us know what you dr has to say.

UCjus...Please keep us informed. I recently began Rinvoq and looks like I'll be switching to Zeposia soon due to insurance issues. Are you still in a flare or having any symptoms of UC? Best of luck to you

Im willing to bet pred is a huge part of your elevated WBC. Whenever I take pred mine are crazy high, my MPV is all out of whack, and I have lots of irregular platelet sizes too. Pred is a wonder drug but comes with horrible side effects!

The reduction in CRP is a positive sign it's helping. And it's only been a month. It took over 2 monhs on Xeljanz for my labwork to come back completely normal. Let us know what your GI says about the WBC.

Edit: I just saw you're on prednisone also so hard to know if Rinvoq is working. How much prednisone still? How do you feel?
