Just had my Lab work for my early physical. I have been on Entyvio for 1 year. My results for Absolute EOS came back High (910). This test has always been in the normal range. Has anyone on Entyvio had this happen? Thanks for any insight.

What is the normal range for that? Some of my results sometimes come back slightly high or low but docs tell me as long as they are close to the normal range nothing to worry about.

I looked online & sites stated 500-1500 is considered mild. There a lot of different medical issues that can cause this to be elevated & an IBD is listed as one of them.

Let us know what your dr tells you.

Are you talking about eosinophils? My last test at quest measured for absolute eosinophils. Mine were a little high. Reference range was 15-500 and mine were 518. I saw my dr after and he didn’t mention anything about it.

What was your eosinophil % relative to total white blood cell count?

Eosinophils can elevate for a number of reasons, with allergies being one of the most common reasons. Do you have any allergies or asthma?

Your number is mildly high. Not enough to cause big concern but something to get checked again in maybe 3-4 months.

I had consistently elevated eos numbers after being on Entyvio for a while. I also had antibodies to Entyvio, and continued to flare on it. On other medications my numbers have sometimes been low. Might be good if your doc checks for antibodies/drug levels.

Thanks for the information. I will talk with my PCP on Tuesday and also let my GI DR know about the test.
