Hey,

So my recent sigmoidoscopy showed I have lower rectum inflammation (procitis)

I live in the uk and am currently taking Pentasa suppositries and octasa oral meds

My question is, once in remission what do people generally carry on taking from experience?

The suppositries I’m not really getting on with so ideally I would carry on with the oral meds but not sure if this would be enough?

Would be good to know peoples Experiences

True, not enough if you're using topical meds. I use the 4g enemas and oral asacol (now generic) for 34 years.
