I just got a phone call to say that my hospital appointment will now be next Friday.I'm well pleased. I don't have to go the 70 miles to the other hospital either my appointment will be in my local hospital with a new consultant.Hopefully he will find a better approach for treating me and get me off this Pred.

That's great news my friend. I hope too that they find something to help you besides that darned pred. Good luck, and let us know what happens. And wow, what a trip it would have been to the other hospital....70 miles?

Hey Marty,

That's great news, I hope the consultant is good, I found a website once which listed GI's and gave a brief history on them including qualifications, I'll take a look see if I can find it and send you a link might be worth taking a look :-)

Take care mate.
