does anyone else not have a cecal valve? either from surgery or a valve that doesn't work? just found out that ONE YEAR AGO they removed mine during surgery. explains a lot of my problems. if anyone has a similar issue, i would love some advice....

I had an ileocecal resection and they DID remove my ileocecal valve (not sure if that is the same thing as a cecal valve?)

oh my gosh, i am so happy to find a fellow valve-less buddy (yes it is the same thing). may i ask what symptoms/ bacteria problems you have had as a result and what you did about them? i'm currently on antibiotics and i'll have to take probiotics to keep it from building p again? what are you doing? sorry to ask you so many questions but you are the first person who has had this problem (that i have talked to) so i can't help but be excited!
