Does anyone experience joint pain?  My knees, elbows, and now my ankles hurt.  Some days are worse then others.  Is there anything I can take to help with this?

Yes, joint pain is very common in IBD's. I use tylonel and warm compresses or warm baths. Stay away from Nsaids such as Aleve, Advil or Motrin since these can make any bleeding worse. Same thing goes for prescription anti-inflammatories. If it continues, you might want to be screened for arthritis since that is common for us too. A great web site to visit if you haven't already done so is This site is quite informative for IBD's.
Left sided Uc since '92 - meds - Colazal, Canasa (when needed), 6MP (50-75mgs), Forvia, Biotin (IN REMISSION - sort of!)
Secondary Raynauds Syndrome '04  - meds - Norvasc
Fibromyalgia '06 - no meds
Severe seasonal allergies - meds - Allegra
