My knee has been giving me pain for the last few days and is a bit swollen, thought it was getting better but this am its bigger than normal. Will a bit of pred help reduce the inflamation in the joint as its hurting quite a bit!

You should go have this checked by the doc. Have you ever been diagnosed with RA? Have you tried alternating warm and cold compresses? Did you do anything to injure your knee?

SORRY about YOUR KNEE.  MINE ALWAYS GETS INFLAMED BEFORE I FLARE.  SOMETIMES ON PRED IT EVEN STAYS INFLAMED.

MY DOC SAID THE INFLAMATION IS PART OF THE UC DISEASE.

GOOD LUCK

CAGIO
