Just a quick observation that people might be able to throw some light on.

My morning BM is really good...very solid and formed. My evening BM is accompanied with an amount of water. It's not watery stool more like stool with water (if such a distinction exists!). I was wondering whether this has anything to do with the amount of water I consume. During the morning and day I drink about 3 litres of water but overnight I don't drink any. Is this why the evening stool contains water and the morning stool doesn't?

Does this still point to the fact that my colon is having trouble absorbing water from its contents?

Could the excess water be a result of a lack of fibre in my diet (I'm eating no fibre at present as I'm (gently) coming out of a flare?

I see you are taking Aloe Vera. Could this be the reason for the watery d. I know that is what it done to me.

Actually no. I removed Aloe Vera to make sure it wasn't that. It's not really D though. The stools are well formed and solid. It's just they come with lots of water!!

Thanks

I'm not sure then Damo this doesn't happen to me. If it keeps up mention it to you doctor to see what he or she thinks.
