That 80mgs did do the job. My appointment went really well on Friday and the docs in the hospital don't want to see me for 6 months. They reckon that the Pred did do me good and i am to try and taper off it over next ten weeks. I do feel really good at the minute and my frequency and urgency is improving. No blood in over 2 weeks, so i'm hoping i'm heading for remission. He done a few more bloods to check my liver and thyroid, but i'm confident all will be good.:)
I've also started walking around 5 miles a day,( i was doing around 2 miles) and i started a bit of weight training on Saturday.I'm hoping that with increased exercise my overall health will continue to improve. I certainly feel better than i have in a long long time.

keep the faith
