I just got a prescription of canasa from walgreens and when I open one it is brown.  I have used them before & I don't think this is right.  Does any one have an answer? I am currently in a big flare up and waiting to start humira even against my better judgement, but I know I have to do something.  I cann't take immuran any more.

What's the expiry date on it? You could also email the company and enquire...or call the pharmacy and exchange them.

Have you not considered to use the retention enemas?

thanks for your reply. I will try and email the company. I also will see my doctor next week and ask her. I just will not use any until I know for sure. I have tried the rowasa but for some reason the last time they put me on canasa. also I have been running a low grade fever in the pm I wonder if this is norm.

When you say "for some reason they gave me Canasa"...who do you mean..the pharmacy or the doctor prescribed it.

You should still get a script for the Rowasa if they worked for you.
