Sorry to have another prednisone topic, but didn’t find this on any other previous post.

Going through a mild (mild) flare right now and it takes a couple months before even seeing my GI.  Was wondering if anyone ever implements there own prednisone taper or usage.  Im not talking about a large dose, but something extremely small like a 10mg dose a day for a week or two

call your GI and see if they will up it for you? They may not even need to see you? Sorry, I have not been no prednisone so I don't know.

I would call your GI. You could atleast talk to a nurse. Personally 10mg wouldn't touch a flare for me. Are you on any other meds?
