Hi all:

I just can't get rid of the abdominal pain.  Have it most of the time.  I'm on Asacol 2 three times a day and Rowasa enemas at night 2 times a week.  But, the pain in abdomin has never gone away.  Before diagnosis I thought it was pain from hips radiating but after x-rays no problems there.  Anyone have this problem?

Thanks, Nancy

I get hip pains a lot, especially in my right side. Its a real burning ache. I got all tests done to check out what was causing mines, it turned out to be IBS. I was in remission at the time. I only get that pain now if i wholegrain breads or potatoes.
But i would advise you to go to your docs and get checked out. Your doctor will soon be able to get you answers. It could just be your UC, it could be IBS, it could be joint pains. But go get your doc to find out exactly what it is.
Feel good soon

Thanks for reply and suggestions Marty.

I'll be seeing GI on Sept. 11 and will get some help on this.
