hi all,
based on the recommendations here, i bought some forvia multivitamins and i have been taking them for about a week. could someone with experience with forvia explain why they think it is different? i have read all the advertising stuff, but i would love some personal experience--right now they haven't seemed to improve my situation but maybe i just need to wait longer?
any thoughts?

Hi Katie, I don't think Forvia will improve your symptoms. The point of it is to help replenish vitamins etc. that IBDers tend to lose faster than regular people.
I've been on it for about a year and a half. I didn't really notice much difference when I started it, but I think it's definitely good to be on a multi-vitamin, and if I can take a multi-vitamin that's engineered toward my body, why not?

Forvia is definitely not going to improve your symptoms but it is designed to give those with IBD more of the vitamins and minerals they are prone to depleting.  I take it even though I no longer have UC.

ok, good to know. i know it is beneficial for me to take it, especially because i have a lot of malabsorption problems--i guess i am just always hoping something will help with the symptoms...
