hey guys,
i have to back to into the doctor tomorrow for another test. i forget what it is called but i fast, they feed me eggs, toast and jam and then they "watch what comes out." has anyone ever had this test? i'm just nervous, every time i go in for a test, they find out something else is wrong. does anyone know what this test looks for??

diagnosed with cecal volvulus, 2006; two colon resections in the same year
diagnosed with colitis 2007
malrotated colon
no cecal valve, removed during surgery
on antibiotics while undergoing further testing by doctor
will start VSL #3 when antibiotics are done.

sorry I don't know, but I do know what it's like going through tests and waiting and always finding something!

I hope that they get the info they are looking for to making a diagnosis and getting you on your way to feeling better!

UC Diagnosed March 2000
Lialda 2.4mg 1xday since 8/24/07 (prev. Asacol 4800mg day)
Calcium and Vitamin D 500 mg 2xday
Simvastatin 20 mg 1xday
Diovan 80mg 1xday (dx: hematuria w/proteinuria): I have normal blood pressure, this is for my kidney - waiting for a dx.

It could be for transit time or fecal fat content. Either of those sound familiar?

My doc's logic.. "TREAT (FROM)BOTH ENDS"  worth it !!!
