hello all,
so as many of you may know i was fiiiiiinnnnaaaalllly in remission due to colazal after a horrible year. so i was doing wonderfully and went to ecuador where my boyfriend first got ill, and i closely followed, which of course kicked off a flare of amazing magnitudes. going about 26 times a day with tons of blood... i started myself on pred, which my gi had given me to take with me "just in case" and my boyfriend was put on anti-biotics, which did not really help him. the pred was not the wonder drug that it normally is but did get me down to about 7 or 8 bms a day. so now we are back and my gi says all my test came back negative, and my boyfriend has been seeing 3 different doctors who all say something different one swears its malaria because his liver is all of a sudden destroyed, one says he tested positively for a parasite, and the third says its a reaction to the anti-biotics they gave him for travellers diarrhea. whew- sorry this is so long....
if its not one thing its another right...
i was finally in remission!!!! what the hell!!
