Well I've waited 2 months to get into this naturalpath, whom I absolutly love and love his personality!
He was recommended to me on 3 different occasions by 3 different people.

To make a long story short he said he's seen 1000 UC patients only one could he not help cure. I didn't ask the reasoning b/c my mind set is I will be UC free soon.
He said by Thanksgiving I will be UC symptom free. I just wanted to let you know that I was trying something else b/c the medication helped with the bleeding but I got a rash on my face, no energy, the urgency hasn't completely gone away and my bm's can be 4-6 on some days.
Please don't write anything negitive back to me, let me just try this and see if he can walk the walk and talk the talk. They are whole food supplements that I'm taking.

I'm still convinced my UC started with eating bad alfalfa sprouts (they are grown with some type of feces) and I just ate them w/out washing them. I believe too that I had a strain of e-coli that laid dormate and stress brought on a flare.

Cheers to me and I will keep you posted.

I had the Rocephin shot and 2 weeks of Omnicef, this helped with my bloating and digestion. That was 4/15/07
Had Cipro and Predison for 10 & 5 days, 7/3/07
Colonoscopy & Endoscopy 7/27, Left sided colitis and near cecum (mild)
Colozal 6 a day
Canasa when needed
Floriva Multi-I try to take every day
VSL#3-I try to take one sachet pack every day

Dx:  2006

Meds:  None so far. Garlic works to ease flares. My GI laughed when I told him and said it was just coincidence.

Diet:  Regular fresh garlic, Biobest yogurt daily, Omega 3 supplements, very limited junk food, carbs and processed food, low fat diet.  Lots of fresh fruit and veggies (limited potatoes).

Added: tumeric and probiotics.

Dr. Tent from Novi, MI His personality came across as I know what this is, not I think this is what it is. I can work better with someone who have the confidence in his work. He's been doing this for 29years. Ok here's some good news. I'm not taking my colozal as of today, the last 4 days I've been taking one a day. Yesterday night I started my new Standard Process supplements and went to the bathroom this morning normally. No urgency, not wetness to the gas, I got of the seat in very short time, no waiting.

Just now I had to go again (this is normal for me back in the day to go twice a day morning and somewhere's around 4pm) here's the new things though. I sat here saying I know I'm going to have to go, ususally when I think this I feel that trigger of diarreah and have to fly to the bathroom with urgency. This time, no problems, I comfortable got up and went and my stool no mucus, no nothing and the were formed! No lie. I'm just accepting this and not thinking why and how come it's so good right now.

The supplements I bought, one coats the colon, one tightens up the vascular system (for my hemmroids) one is cleansing of the gall bladder and he says this is full. That the vein goes from the colon to the gallbladder and when the gallbladder gets backed up it send messages to the rectum of full feelings and it can push out your hemmroids. Ok he told me all this even before I said anything. No lie.

I'm taking super strength grapefruit seed extract to kill of bacteria and one other thing for bacteria. These are all whole food supplements so everthing is made from food. I will keep posting my results. I surely didn't have this good of results from colozal for 6 weeks.

I also take protein shake (non-GMO soy) twice a day.
All I can say what this guy said made sense to me.

Is Dr. Tent an actual doctor with training in homeopathic methods? Does he work in conjunction with your current GI? The reason I ask is because I'm really interested in this. I'm not too far from Novi and I know my insurance wouldn't accept him as my doc since I have Blue Care Network, but if he isn't too expensive, maybe I will pay him a visit.

I wish you luck and I hope this helps you!
