Any thoughts on this product?  Might be worth a try, kinda pricey but for the possibility that their claims are well founded, a month trial seems like a small risk compared to what it might do for you.  Anybody heard of or have experience with this stuff?

its short term relief. Once you stop it everything goes back to normal. To be honest it didn't help all that much for the few months I was on it.

Yeah, I didn't think it was the miracle one-for-all cure everyone wishes for, but thus far I've seen no improvement whatsoever on Rx meds. I figure if something like this can help even a little, maybe give the Rx meds the jump-start they need to start working, I'm open to trying it.  Everybody reacts differently to different products but I definitely think there's products available outside the Rx world that will deliver positive results, if only to supplement the meds.  Unfortunately we're on our own finding them, after all, if most doctors can't write a prescription for something they will usually tell you it's snake oil.  Fortunately forums like this make the trial end error process much smoother.

I took it for a while and saw huge improvements, It was especially effective with the scd diet. It is pricey, but I was to the point of making a deal with the devil

Barbl

How long did you have to take it for before you saw an improvement?  Has it kept you in remission?  I am desperate right now,  and this seems too good to be true

Thanks

I've been on it for the past 4 years now. It helped a lot in the start- reduced my BMs and the blood. It worked fine and it was my medicine for the past few years (didn't need salofalk). But for the past year, I have "plateaued" on it- not getting better nor worse. But lately I have been having symptoms while on it so I stopped them and replaced them with Pentasa since salofalk stopped working for me. But it also gave me D so I went back and rebooted my gut, stopped everything except pred and after a few days, my D was gone but started bleeding a bit. So I started AloeElite again and everything was well til today- yesterday I only had 2 BMs, one in the Am and one in the PM. But today I have the D again and I don't know why. I haven't eaten anything different.

Bottomline, you gotta try it for yourself since everyone has his/her own reaction to it.

ACH13 - Thanks for the reply.  It was very helpful.

Sorry to hear you are not doing so well right now, and yes it does seem a bit strange how the D is suddenly back out of the blue like that..  Where do you buy your aloe elite from? How much do you pay for it?  Im in the UK and dont think I have ever come across it before..

Also, how much of it did you used to take?

Thanks again

I would say I noticed a difference in about 1 week, 2 weeks HUGE difference. As all the other posters have already stated "everyone is different" I tried Lialda and ended up in ER with dehydration, the diareah and blood were extreme while on it sad Just noticed I need to remove it from my sig line sad

KSU-

Oops, sorry I made a mistake- the one I'm taking is Aloe MP Plus from www.aloevin.com. Sorry. I buy it from their site. And have it delivered to a courier service that specializes in US orders and they send it here in the Philippines.

In the start I took the "prescribed" dose of 9 per day. I tried 12/day when I was flaring bad a few months ago but after getting D from nowhere, I stopped it and went down to 10/day. Right now I've stopped it again to get rid of the D.
