Does anyone know of what hospital out there is the best to go to?
We live in Missouri but would go anywhere in the world.

There are several but the one closest to you is the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.

dx proctitis in 1987
dx UC in 1991, was stable until 1998
1998 started prednisone, asacol, pentasa, nortriptylene, ativan, 6MP, rowasa enemas and suppositories, hydrocortisone enemas, tried the SCD diet, being a vegetarian, omega 3s, flax, pranic healing, yoga, acupuncture, probiotics
2000 lost all my B-12 stores and became anemic
2001 opted for j-pouch surgery- now living life med-free

I am fortunate enough to live in Cleveland, and I would recommend the Cleveland Clinic to anyone. My Dr. there is Bo Shen. He is phenomenal - one of the best in the world. I truly believe that he has saved my life.

Carrotjuice- is that Virginia Mason in Seattle? If it is WOW> Can you tell me where you found the information about it? I live in Seattle but go to a different clinic system. I'll have to check it out and see if my doc has privileges there.
Pancolitis since October 2004
Currently experiencing symptoms- blood and mild pain. Have started ANOTHER round of enemas.
My drugs of choice: Asacol 2-3 times a day (if I remember), Imuran, Canasa suppositories every other day, probiotics, fish oil, Iron, multi-vitamin
My other therapies of choice: Yoga, walking, my animals, and whining.
