Sigmoidoscopy for Abatacept Study

This Monday I have the prescreening sigmoidoscopy for the Abatacept clinical study that I have been trying to enter. If I pass the sig in the morning, with enough inflammation, I will have my first Abatacept infusion in the afternoon. I start the prep tomorrow morning. I’m using Pico Salax. This will be the 4th time I have used it and I think it is one of the better preps.

Well, this will be a strange one...but I hope you have lots of inflammation!

Keep us posted as to how it unfolds.

From what I read, I wouldn't like the Pico Salax, but it's good you've had success with it.

I started the prep about 1 ½ hours ago and already had 2 BMs. What I like about the Pico Salax is that I only need 2 - 5oz glasses of it 5 to 8 hours apart. Then only 1 - 8oz glass of clear liquid every hour.

Yesterday I was planning to mow the law but I forgot. This morning I decided to mow the lawn right after taking the first glass of prep. I new it would take about one hour for the prep to start working and it only takes 45 minutes to mow the lawn. Right after the prep I ran outside and mowed the lawn. I just finished and had a 10 minute rest when I had to go. I timed it just right.

Wow - that's pretty brave. I don't think I'd go out and start mowing the lawn after taking the prep. lol. Glad you timed it out well! Good luck with today.
