What do you all think about all these new yogurts with fiber, probiotics, etc?  Would they be good for us?  I'm always a little leary of things that are supposed to make you more "regular."  Doesn't that mean it will make you go more often?  That's the last thing I need.  But just curious if these yogurts would be helpful at all.  Thanks.

Yogurt has good bacteria (probiotics) but not in the numbers that may be needed for someone with IBD. You would have to eat gallons of it to equal the dosage of a good OTC probiotic. PB4 (a member of this forum) recommended Primadophilius Reuteri to me a few months ago (5 Billion CFU). I would recommend fiber supplements for regularity. Metamucil has eliminated my diarrhea.
