I just recieved an e-mail for a whole body yeast balance "triple action internal cleansing system." I am just curious if anyone has ever tried this or something like this. of course the website makes it sound awesome. It has probiotics and herbal extracts that are supposed to support healthy yeast growth and eliminate undesireable yeasts.

What do you all think about this typeof treatment for UC? After reading the Bible and how GOD suggests unleavened yeast free bread on occasions then I assume there is something about yeast. now I only eat organic yeast free bread if I even eat bread and I am doing better.

There are a few members that have used anti-fungals - perhaps they will chime in. If not, you could look through old posts to see if you can find any of that information. Also, the SCD diet limits the types of carbs you eat to help prevent yeast overgrowth - or so I think. I've never done it, but it has worked wonderfully for some members.

Best of luck finding what you need!

Got2Believe,

May I ask why you think your problem is yeast related?

The oregano oil in that product is an excellent antifungal. I also, am allergic/bothered by yeast. Kinda found out by trial and error. I noticed after I ate bread, or anything at all with yeast, I felt bloated, pains in my belly that night, and the next day may need more trips to the bathroom. My doctor thought it was all in my head, by the way. Dummy. I now have to read all labels because yeast extract is in a LOT of processed foods. I am a firm believer that fungus/yeast is the cause of a lot health problems. After I got rid of the fungus/yeast overgrowth in my body, my UC symptoms virtually disappeared. I still take caprylic acid or olive leaf extract for maintenence. Probiotics are also a big hit with me. You may also want to eliminate yeast and grains for awhile if you decide to try it, for maximum benefit.
