Hi -

I asked this in a really wordy post yesterday, so it might have gotten lost.  Has anyone tried accupunture - either during a flare or during remission?  What was your experience?

Thanks!

Kris

I just wrote about my experience w/acupuncture in another thread; read NIcepeter's post, "This works for my ulcerative colitis."

It helped me get stress under control and stress is was a major contributing factor for me. If you're under stress then definitely do it.

Hi,

I use Accupuncture on a regular basis. I think it helps a lot with stress and arthritis. It also gives me more energy and feeling of wellness. I think it may be reducing the symptoms of my uc, however, it has not healed the ulcerations in the colon. It is not a cure all for UC. But, I think it is worth a try though.

Regards,

Thanks so much for your replies!  I could definitely use something to help me deal with stress, because that seems to be a major factor that brings on my flares.  I am going to try and set something up soon...I'll let you know how it works!

Kris
