My doctor is trying to get Remicade approved by my insurance - anyone on it? Does it work, and if so how quickly? Any side effects? Anything has to be better than prednisone, right???

Remicade did nothing for me.
But, for some people, it has worked wonders and put them in remission.

Remicade gave me my life back! I have been taking it for almost 3 years. I have no side effects. Some notice it helping right away, others it takes 5 or so infusions before they notice a difference, so be patient with it. Good luck!

It has given me my life back too :) I've been on it about
a year, no side effects that I've noticed
It took about
3 infusions and a reduction of Asacol to get me better
