Flu shot - okay with Prednisone?

Hi -

I was reading the flu shot topic and thought I'd start a new one because this is a little off. Is it okay to get a flu vaccine while you are flaring and on Prednisone???

Yes -- most definitely! It was highly recommended while I was on Pred, and now that I'm on Remi......I make sure to never miss the shot!

Thanks so much! I thought I had read you can't when you are steroids...I will call my doctor to schedule tomorrow!
