Has yogurt helped anyone with UC?
Thanks!

Yes, I eat a lot of yogurt, especially the ones that are high in live active cultures. Check either at the health food store or at the health food section in your grocery store. Also, I drink a Danactive everyday for the probiotic -- they have worked really well for me!

If you're interested in the good bacteria angle such as what yogurt has, you might have better luck with an actual probiotic. Yogurt is good but it doesn't contain nearly enough bacteria as a probiotic does. I eat yogurt on occasion - it seems almost all yogurts have strawberries in them and I'm allergic to strawberries! lol But when I can find the ones without strawberries, it's great. :)

Not at all for me....yogurt gives me a lot of gas discomfort. I take probiotics instead.

I occasionally eat yogurt. I don't think it helps or hurts me personally. I do take a probiotic as well.
