Anyone have any exciting plans for the weekend? I'm thinking about going to the movies to watch Stardust or the Seeker and if that doesn't work out, I'll make a fool-hardy attempt at writing music (fatboyslim is my inspiration...lol). I'll probably make a few more coconut cookies for the road, get the car inspected...anything to enjoy the weekend and take my mind off of my colon...oh...maybe I'll relax in a park with the kids as well.

Love you all,

tongue

I'm going to attempt to--yikes--hike! this weekend. I've been "working out" for the past six weeks, mainly trying to build strength after a year of sickness (was hosp Nov. 06 for two weeks for a major flare, out of work for five months, still only working PT). The other thing I LOVE is laying on the couch w/a book and my mini dachsund and read and drift on/off sleep--now, that sounds better than hiking anytime.

I am going to the Indians playoff games!!! We are HUGE Cleveland Indians fans. GO TRIBE! Oh... and I am spending some time with my baby sister (she's 21 now and just loves it when I call her my "baby sister"), too. That will be nice.

The weekend is going to be beautiful here in Michigan so we are taking off to my inlaws cottage which is about 2 1/2 hours north of me. Us Michiganians like to say we are going up north :) The temps are supposed to be in the 80's which is so untypical for a Michigan fall that it's going to be sort of strange because the main reason we are going is to view the fall leave colors.

We have a crazy weekend. My mil is throwing a 'birthday weekend' for my father-in-law (think golf for the guys, fancy party, etc). In addition to that my son has two birthday parties to attend. It is going to be a crazy weekend! I'm hoping to sneak to the gym at some point.

My brother has been living with my husband and I for the last 7 months and is finally moving out Saturday...so we'll be helping him move. Usually helping people move isn't something I like doing, but in this case I'm really excited - we get our privacy back yeah !!

This weekend is Thanksgiving in Canada, so Sunday I'll be eating lots of Turkey.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Tara

Tara, I know what you mean about your privacy! Umm btw, what IS that??? :) My brother lived with me for about a year and when he moved out, I realized exactly how much privacy me and the hubby didn't have while he was there.

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadians here!

I am soo excited.  I am going out on a date with my Husband of 21 years!  Having 3 teenagers and not feeling well since March has put a major hold on "our" time.
