Heya kickboxer, sorry not from Toronto, I'm from Alberta though...I'm pretty sure there are some from Toronto here at the UC forum and even at the crohns forum, which you can feel free to visit as well now with you having crohns.

I live in markham so i guess technically its just outside of toronto..

pb4, I have to ask you.. Is it really like people say it is over there in terms of needing work. I hear somedays, for example, a tim hortons will be closed with a sign posted saying "sorry not enough staff to open today".. I also heard that a McDonalds pays about 13$ an hour?? I think if i wasn't in school i'd be pretty tempted to go check it out.

Yup, it's pretty much true, but where I'm at McDonalds pays 10.00/hr full time and a little less for part time wage.

The cost of living is crazy, you couldn't afford rent on 10.00/hr out here, 800.00 for a bedroom in a house and it goes up from there.

Not to mention the cost of everything.
