Guess why I'm going commando here at work right now?
Hint: It's not because I'm trying to be sexy.
Sigh. They moved my office upstairs and it's super far from the bathroom. Just couldn't make it.

Awwww, sorry to hear that.  I'm not in that bad of a flare right now, but I've been there.  Sorry things aren't going so well today.  Couldn't you request your office being near a restroom?  I know it's easier said than done, but it's worth a shot, especially when it's because of a medical issue.

I know how that goes. I work in a huge building at a university...they have one bathroom on my floor, who designs these buildings!? I've missed the "deadline" at least half a dozen times. At my worst I resorted to bringing extra underwear with me. <sigh>.
Diagnosed Fall of 2004

6MP 1/2tab x 2 25mg ("re-challenging" 6mp)
Remicade 4 infusions
Prednisone 25mg (down to 5mg taper a week)

I'm so sorry to hear this happened to you. You should certainly talk to your HR department about moving your office nearer to a bathroom. You'd probably have to tell them why, but it would be worth it. You would probably be covered under the reasonable accommodation under ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act).

BTW- why don't you take any UC meds? I take probiotics and fish oil but it just doesn't seem to work for me. It helps but I couldn't get into remission with them. How much do you take? How long did it take for you to reach remission?
Pancolitis since October 2004
Currently experiencing symptoms- blood and mild pain. Have started ANOTHER round of enemas.
My drugs of choice: Asacol 2-3 times a day (if I remember), Imuran, Canasa suppositories every other day, probiotics, fish oil, Iron, multi-vitamin
My other therapies of choice: Yoga, walking, my animals, and whining.
