If any of you still remember me, you'll recall that I don't stop in here often when I'm doing well. Today is my most recent tour, and I'm happy to see that you're all still here helping one another. This community was a godsend when I was so terribly sick. Thanks again, and keep up the good work!

Wow Judy..happy to hear you're doing well and that you're back on the boards posting. Your experience is invaluable to other members, especially since you've had quite a go of it for a while.

Be well...

It's encouraging to hear from people who are feeling well! Remission for 2 years? That's something to really be excited about. The most I've gotten has been about 10 months straight (out of the last 10 years). Perhaps you can share some stories from the land of remission? How long did it take for the remicade to work?

Best wishes to you.

I was in a bad flare from before my diagnosis until two years ago, was steroid-dependent to even keep things under enough control to be able to function. After about the third treatment with Remicade I started seeing improvement, and now I live a normal life and eat what I want, in moderation. For me, it took the combination of Colazal, Imuran and Remicade. If I drop any one, I flare again.

I truly believe there is or will be a treatment out there that will help each of us to feel normal again. Sometimes it's just a matter of holding on until your treatment is developed or discovered.

Thanks. That's the best thing I've read all day.
