This post has fascinated me.
I moved in (with my then girlfriend) to a flat in June 2003 - and by the mid September I was diagnosed with UC and attempting to eject my entire digestive tract in bloody chunks on a daily basis.
The flat was poorly insulated, and suffered from permanant damp and mold, when we moved the furniture there were black shadows on the walls where they had been. We quickly got the landlord on the case and moved out shortly after.
I had some sucess a year ago using caprilic acid (although not since) - and have always wondered where the environment of the flat had effected my health...
Any more out there?
