Hi all, just wanted to drop a line as to what I have been up to. On the UC front, it seems that I am 100% symptom free! No pain, no gas, no blood, normal movements....all is good at the moment and has been for a number of months. I've had some abnormal test results concerning my kidneys (which are being monitored by my GP and GI), but I feel great. :)

Its been a busy summer to say the least. My wife had a baby on the 16th of last month (our second daughter, third child), my brother and his wife moved to the Dominican Republic, i did a lot of renovations on my home, my eldest daughter started grade 1-YIKES!, and I am back at work and having a blast.

I took my physical appraisal at work last month. We have to run an obstacle course in less then 4 minutes and 15 seconds. My best time prior to surgery was 3 minutes 4 seconds.....and last month I scored a 3 minute and 5 second time-only one second time loss! I was pretty happy about that!

My surgery scar is not nearly as distinguished, and other then the loss of a bit of flexibility in my abdominals (which im working on), I feel pretty much 100%.

I've been lurking here a bunch, but not posting as much as I am just very short of time with everything thats been going on. But I do read, and totally understand the pain, discomfort, depression and all the accompanying feelings both physical and emotional that everyone is feeling, and can totally empathize.

Hoping and wishing for remission for you all and take care always! :)

SO VERY glad to hear you're doing well! Was wondering about you...

Many congratulations to you and your wife on the new daughter :)

I'm so pleased to hear you're back to feeling well - you had a really rough go for a while.

Cheers!
