Hi, I read that Lialda helps to achieve remission at :

http://www.lialda.com/?c=consumer

Does anybody tried this, was there any improvement, and is there any side effect?

Thanks.

I took it for 3 weeks, had a scope yesterday and doc is going to put me on something stronger.

I have read about people having good luck with it on here. We are all different.

It's been about the same for me as the Asacol and Colazal (that is, I am still not in complete remission, but my symptoms are way worse when I go off it). The best thing about the Lialda is that it's once a day dosing. I don't have to set my PDA alarm to remind me to take my pills and I don't have to hunt up something to drink if I'm out and about when the alarm the goes off. Since I just take everything in the morning I no longer have to tote about my "old lady" pill organizer and on my good days I don't feel like I have a disease.
