I took it for 3 weeks, had a scope yesterday and doc is going to put me on something stronger.

I have read about people having good luck with it on here. We are all different.

It's been about the same for me as the Asacol and Colazal (that is, I am still not in complete remission, but my symptoms are way worse when I go off it). The best thing about the Lialda is that it's once a day dosing. I don't have to set my PDA alarm to remind me to take my pills and I don't have to hunt up something to drink if I'm out and about when the alarm the goes off. Since I just take everything in the morning I no longer have to tote about my "old lady" pill organizer and on my good days I don't feel like I have a disease.
Diagnosed UC April 27, 2006
Remicade: 1st infusion 7/21/07; 2nd infusion 8/18/07; 3rd infusion 10/13/07
Lialda, 4 tabs in the morning; Protonix; Prednisone 4/27/06-present, holding taper at alternating 5/0 mg; Xanax; Lexipro, Rowesa; Asacol; Colazal three 750 mg capsules 3X day;
[2/22/07 started Imuran, off within two weeks due to bad reaction]
