for those of you that got a free sample, how much did they send you and how long did it take to get it?

A lady emailed me and said she would get me a sample out and I was just wondering what to expect.

Thanks in advance

I don't think you'll see any results from a sample. I decided to try Pro-Bio, so I bought a 30 count bottle. I took 4/day (6am/12/6pm/12) till they were gone. I can report a very slight positive effect. Needs to be taken on an empty stomach......I didn't get the same calmed feeling when I took them after a meal. I ordered a 90 count bottle last week, so I'm gonna stay with them to see if it continues to help.

I got my sample today which is a (30) count bottle (1 month supply) and a bunch of information on their products and enzymes (brochures & cd roms)

I'm happy they sent me a 30 day supply to try. For free I don't think I can go wrong. Hopefully this stuff will help me some.

ya, they must stand behind their products. I'm extremely overwhelmed with the amount of info they sent though. I started reading through it all and you can go on and on and on........ At this time I'm only interested in probiotics and digestive enzymes.

I'm taking 12 a day. It has stopped my bleeding. I tried to call for a sample after I purchased it and they said no. So before you order, ask for a free trial, then order.

I had the Rocephin shot and 2 weeks of Omnicef, this helped with my bloating and digestion. That was 4/15/07
Had Cipro and Predison for 10 & 5 days, 7/3/07
Colonoscopy & Endoscopy 7/27, Left sided colitis and near cecum (mild)
Had a shot of steriods for my ear inflammation 8/31
Stopped Colozal 10/1/07 was on it for 7 weeks, side effects
On Standard Process supplements, trying a new protocal from a
natural path as of 9/10/07
I belive laughter is the best medicine, I need to laugh more!

I am taking Pro-Bio, still taking the sample that they sent met.  I take 1 pill a day, first thing in the morning and noticed a difference a week after taking it, less gas and only 1 to 2 bowel movements a day.  So it is working, at least I think it is.  Hope this helps!

Where does it say about the free sample on the website? This sounds like something I might like to try. I have tried probiotics in the past but I always forgot to take them because they were in the refridgerator and I don't think I was ready for the initial phase of any probiotic but now I think I am so I want to give it a go.

Hmmm I emailed them yesterday and I just got a reply back saying that they don't have any free samples at this time but I can get them at a local health food store or online with a money back guarantee.

Red, I guess that is what happens when you post "free" on a discussion board.

I've been kind of inconsistent with this stuff and screwing around probably too much with my diet, but this Pro-Bio stuff does seem to help some. I am just going for 2/dy, but I've noticed some of my color has returned to my face and probably absorbing more nutrients. I'll keep everyone posted to be sure.

therearemiracles,
have you noticed a difference with taking 12 per day as opposed to a smaller number? Do you spread out the doses?

As mentioned before, it could be the coating on the capsule that allows it to reach the colon. A little fact for ya: There are 1000 times more bacteria in the large intestine than the small, in general, because the small intestine of course moves things through quicker, but also more absorption of nutrients and therefore more acid is produced (this helps absorption). Also, I remember reading the company's boast about 2 particular bacterial strains they use and possibly unique (I think I saw a register's mark on the names), which may be the biggest benefit of all since different probiotics perform different tasks.

When someone announced free, I was thinking "to the 1st 40 people maybe..." Even if I don't get the free stuff, I'd like to get my hands on their research packet. I've been reading a lot more on probiotics lately and at some point I'll have to post a rundown on it all. Really fascinating stuff.

How is everyone doing on the Pro-Bio.  I am thinking of buying some tomorrow when we go into the states for shopping.  My husband has been suffering from years of uc and one of the things that made a huge diffirence in the past is probiotics.  The only problem is that is seems to be working very well for a couple of months and then  his body is "getting used to it" and  his uc is deteriating again.  A changing of probiotics in his case is therefore working well.

Went to the link posted in this thread http://www.enzymedica.com/products/Pro_Bio . Are you crazy, 50 us dollars for 90 capsules? Then i went to local Pharmacy and found Natures Bounty Probiotic 100caps for 10us dollars. Has the same Lactobacillus Acidophilus ingredient as the Enzymedica does. Pharmacist said it was the right product, im no expert on Probiotic but i am an expert on saving money. I will stick with the Natures Bounty until here that ther is actually a difference.
