HI all. I am having some kind of strange pain symtoms. You should know I had a D&C due to a lost preg. a mn ago. 1.5 weeks ago doc. said everything looked like ti was back to normal. I have been having pain near lower abdomen when I change postions ie. moving in my chair, stand up or sitting down. Sex has also been painful. I know with a flare one time sex was painful. I am not having any bleeding and have only little mucuos. Diag. has been crohns colitis. Also my gas pains and bloating have been crazy. I am on colozal and fish oil. Oh- even walking hurts sometimes. Just feels so tender inside. Could this be a flare symptom. I am a little scared. Your comments will be very appreciated.

Hi...it's best to go back to the gyne and get yourself checked out. As well, do so with the GI. Are you having any other UC symptoms such as diarrhea..are you having normal bms..are they painful?
It could be that you're ovulating or nearing your period.
ARe you having any pains during urinating?

I have had an increase in runny bms. that is usually not the case for me. the pain has lasted for two weeks now so I don't think it is related to ovulating. I do see my GI tomorrow. He had a cancel so I get to get in right away.

It's great you're getting in so quickly. It sounds as though it's a flare..probably related to what you've unfortunately been through the past month.
Are you on any meds for UC at this time?

colozal and fish oil. Yeah- this was all quite traumaitc. My baby had a fatal condition and I was 13 weeks. I also hadd a MC last March while on entocort which is a class C. Feeling a little guilty about
that but the entocort really helped.

MC..you mean miscarriage? It's a catch 22 regarding your health and pregnancy. It might be good to give your body a good healing time before getting pregnant again...
Have you checked up fish oil and pregnancy? Just make sure it's not liver oils because of high vitamin A content.
Let us know what the doctor says. I hope he's able to get you on meds that will have you feeling better soon.
Dicyclomine will help with cramping. I use 20mg...but 10mg is a good start.

WI chica - I don't have any advice other than what Quincy said, but I wanted to say I'm very sorry for all you've been through! Take care :)
