We thank you so much, she is doing much better now and a little miracle just happenned today. If you click on the link and click on the first video "Beth walking" you will see it. All your well wishes and prayers have helped her so much.

Oh Marty, this is wonderful news. I am so happy for you and Beth. I will continue to send well wishes and prayers. You have one beautiful daughter, and just seeing her walk, brought tears of joy to my face. This is great news, go celebrate.

Thank you so much. I have to admit i have tears in my eyes evrytime i see it. I still can't believe it. She is so amazing that i find it hard to put in words how proud i am of her.

bratcat was diagnosed with pancolitis October 2006
Current meds:
Asacol - 4 pills/3Xday
hydrocortisone enema nightly, rowasa in the morning
40 mg prednisone daily
 
11/14/06 - started prednisone; 1/28/07 - finished prednisone!
3/3/07 - began to taper off hydrocortisone sloowwly!
Summer 2007 - slowly began tapering Rowasa
9/07 -- flaring? Nightly Rowasa. 9/21/07 -- added hydrocortisone enemas. 9/30/07--added prednisone

Dx'D in 1990. Remission 1991 - 1/2005
Both flares were in extremely stressful times in my life
Colonoscopy 10/2005 80% of Colon diseased, or as I like to say "Intestinely challenged"
*****9/2007 dumped my GI who I refer to as "Satan" New GI, new med TOTAL remission with in 2 weeks.
Colazal 9 capsules a day*****

Pan-colitis and GERD diagnosed May 2003
 
Asacol 12 per day,  Azathioprine 75mg, Rowasa and Canasa as needed
Aciphex, Effexor XR, BCP, Rhinocort nasal spray
Forvia and a Probiotic
 
Osteopenia (hip and spine) from prednisone use.  Started Azathioprine because I was steroid dependent.

~5ASA: Asacol + Salofalk enemas (increase for flares tapered to maintenance)

~vitamins/minerals 
~Probiotic 2 (Natural Factors Protec) + 1 (Primadophilus Reuteri) at bedtime
~Natural Factors Multi Digestive Enzymes with supper
~Ranitidine,Pariet (reflux) Effexor XR 75mg;  Pulmicort/Airomir (asthma)
~URSO for PSC (or PBC) 500mg X 2 daily (LFTs back to NORMAL!!)
My doc's logic.. "TREAT (FROM)BOTH ENDS"  worth it !!!
