I'm not from there so I can't suggest any personally, but I would recommend checking out the CCFA website here and looking at their listings... I did a quick search for zip code 94601 since that is an oakland sanfrancisco zip and came up with a lot of listings. It looks like there are a LOT in San Francisco!!
Good luck! Hopefully someone here can recommend a specific doctor for you as well.

Female, 22, Ulcerative colitis (pancolitis) since 1999; GERD; gastritis; osteopenia in hip & lumbar region of spine from long term prednisone use

Current Meds:
40 mg Citalopram (for depression/social anxiety)
125mg Imuran
Should also be on supplements and probiotics and other UC drugs but I'm just not good at taking pills...

Hello! The University of California at San Francisco has a Crohn's Disease/Ulcerative Colitis Center in its medical school. That would be the best place in the area for you to seek pediatric care. One very well known gastroenterologist there is Dr. Uma Mahadevan. She subspecializes in pregnancy & IBD. Her office could no doubt refer you to an associated pediatric gastroenterologist. Best wishes for you to find the care your daughter needs. / Old Hat (nearly 30 yrs with left-sided UC; currently on 3 Colazal daily; seem to be back in remission)
