Finally some good health news, the colo revealed a fair amount of healing within my colon, which is consistent with my feeling better.  Still not in remission with some bleeding and definite urgency - but fewer movements per day and less pain.

This is after 3 infusions of remi, now the doc says he wants to "double" the dosage.  I knew he was giving me smaller dosages but not half - does that make sense to anyone here?

The general anesthesia took until late last night to wear off - but worth the lack of pain and being wide awake on the valium and memory-blocking drug normally given (I stay fully awake with that one).

Now at least the next is one year away...I can deal with that.

Thanks for listening to my rants on this one.

love to all

Interesting news....AWESOME news!! Way to go Bob. I don't know much about the Remi, but if the doc thinks a higher dosage will do better for you...then it'd be worth trying. At least he's doing a progressive treatment making sure things are going as planned.

Sounds good all along...hope you have a good weekend with that great news. Only 364 days to go till the next one..lol!

That is great news Bob. Will the increased dosage of Remi interfer with your feet at all in regards to healing?

Hi Bob, I don't know how much remi you're on now, but doubling it doesn't surprise me that much, I've heard dosages and intervals all over the place. I also understand that they determine the dosage in 100 lb body weight amounts, so that's a pretty wide range anyway.
I weigh about 150 and am on 400 mg I think (4 vials anyway)
