i am a 25 year old male. recently dignosed wiyh ulcerative colitis.
my life facts:
if i drink the water in ballito bay i hemmorage from the bottom if i stop drinking it it stops i found this out by going on holiday to the place on numerous occasions.
broke up with my girlfriend dirreah set in then bleeding we reunited and it stopped.
recently i was travelling changed my life structure started drinking more was under emense stress this lead to my diagnosis.
can this help what to do

Hi Claytin, welcome to Healingwell :) Are you on any medications at this time? Where are you from? Stress is known to be a trigger in flares so it's not surprising that you were having symptoms. As in drinking more are you referring to alcohol? If so then yes this can aggravate your Uc.

Allergies - Singulair, Allegra, Astelin(got the script - just haven't tried it yet!)

I agree here With Red on this one. Stress will make you flare and increase symptoms. Some say that stress cannot cause flares but i know for a fact that they cause most of mines.Alcohol will also increase symptoms, especially if you are flaring badly.

Heck, my wife was telling everyone I had a "broken pooper". Laughter the best medicine...?
Current Prescriptions:
50 mg Prednisone per day, 1 x per day
1000 mg Sulfasalazine, 4x per day
1 Mesalamine Enema per day
