Hi Princesa,

Just wanted to thank you for recommending the coping w/prednisone book.  I am about halfway through it and it was good because it brought up a lot of stuff I am going through and I know I am not crazy!!

Plus it's something to read while in the bathroom (TMI?).

Thanks again!!

Beth

You're very welcome. Sometimes I'm afraid folks get tired of me always recommending this or that book, but knowledge is power in fighting this disease. Over the past few years, I developed quite a collection of intestinal health books. LOL

This book sounds interesting.  Can I ask what book it was as I wouldn't mind getting hold of one?

Many thanks.

The book we're discussing is Coping with Prednisone: It May Work Miracles, but How Do You Handle the Side Effects by Eugenia Zuckerman. You can order it on Amazon. I found a copy at my local library.

Many thanks, I'm going to check it out.  In respect of your other post, I think it is really helpful that you offer recommendations on books that you have read so keep them coming!!

Thanks for your help.

Optimal Digestion is another great book for educating yourself about ulcerative colitis, but also for truly understanding how a healthy digestive system works and for finding ways to support yourself, balance gut ecology and get back to that point.
