Oh my goodness! I am so glad to see others talking about
WW and UC. I have been on WW for the past 5 weeks. I am currently on my week of 10 mg of pred and going down to 5 mg tomorrow for the week.
I seem to lose one week and gain the next. I have been told it could be the pred.
I found myself eating so much more fiber from veggies than I had in the last 6 months prior and I feel really good! There was some gas, initially, but I haven't eaten veggie soup or spaghetti squash or even a salad for a meal until I started WW.
I didn't believe I could eat those things before and I can! I hope I can continue and that the scale will reflect the efforts once the pred gets out of my system. At least I can say I am eating healthier and making better choices whether the scale says so, or not.
