Dear All,

I've been on this site now for about 5 months. Things are going really well for me right now with my UC so I think it's time I maybe got away from the very concept of IBD and IBS for a bit and enjoy "2 BM per day life" again and maybe "reconnect with my colon"! So I propose to take a break for a few weeks. It's a bit like needing to get some fresh air. I'm not even gonna go anywhere near a google search engine least I type the word IBD or UC!

I would like to thank everyone for their support over the last 5 months. You have all taught me a lot. Unfortunately I haven't been able to pass as much onto new members but hopefully I can educate some more people here in Ireland about IBD.

Special thanks to Red_34, UCinNC and Qunicy from whom I have learnt the most in discussions, debates and even arguments!

Thank You.

So I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and I will see you all very soon.

D

1600 mg Asacol + 500mg suppositories as needed
Acidophilus
No Stress and a positive attitude (mostly!)

My colon appears to be acting somewhat normal (ssssshhhhh...don't jinx it)
