Its sad I have been diagnosed with uc and I have had three really bad flares with hospitalizations was steroid Dependant and was put on remicade. I have alot of joint and muscle weakness which I know the remicade is suppose to help. I have had 7 infusions and was doing ok but then got my period this month and had lots of diahriah and then started with this green mucos thought after period was over it would stop but not any thoughts?/?

Posted 11/19/2007 3:56 AM (GMT -6) should tell the doc and get it checked out for you might have an ongoing infection that's not related to UC and should be treated. Some do have pus with flares if ulcerations are deep and oozing. You don't have diverticulitis do you? When was your last c-scope.

Let us know what happens.

*Heather*Status:mini flare June 23* 6asacol daily+ Salofalk (tapered every 4th night)

I agree that you should get checked fairly soon. Green mucous is a sign of infection. haven't been drinking or eating a lot of things with blue tint/dye have you? That can cause everything in there to be green. But either way, you should go in to see your doctor.
