I agree w/Trixy when you know a fart is not going to be a Shart!

Also, when it feels like I am giving birth to my poo (meaning not having normal shaped bm's in a long while can hurt sometimes).

Yes, I'm on board with the dry fart consensus. When a dry, 10 second, 4 octive fart sounds like angels above singing the Hallelujah, I feel better. Not decorating my shorts with mucous is definitely a bonus.

yeah  Too funny, I agree with the farting too!  Also, when I am starving and crave sweets!  Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Yep, farting with no surprises added in, along with the decrease in urgency and blood.

Dx:  2006

Diet:  Regular fresh garlic, Biobest yogurt daily, Omega 3 supplements, very limited junk food, carbs and processed food, low fat diet.  Lots of fresh fruit and veggies (limited potatoes).

Added: tumeric and probiotics.

You're on the mend when you go to your favorite store, ect., and actually have to remember where the restrooms are!

Colon gone. No farting allowed :)

Oh wow! I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one who gets the wet farts during a flare.  The absense of that and any blood or horrid urgency like I'm about to pass a bowling ball is also an a-okay sign for me.
