I have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
On thanksgiving eve of 2005, at about 7:00 pm, I went to the er with what I self diagnosed as a heart attack. They sent me home and said I was fine. That night I woke up at about 4:00 am and had my wife call 911 for excruciating chest pain. I was having a heart attack, and on thanksgiving I had a quadruple bypass. I had 2 arteries that were 85% blocked and one that was 100% blocked.
I have 2 little girls 3 and 6 years old and a wonderful wife of 11 years.
I am so thankful that I went back in there a second time.
The following summer(2006) while on vacation I had my 1st major flare. It took well over a year to get to what I think(and pray) is remission. I can easily say that UC was the harder of the 2 to deal with.
I am so thankful that I found healingwell and all of you wonderful people. You have helped me cope with and treat this ugly demon.
I don't speak up very often, but I wanted to say thanks to everyone and I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.
