I had a friend that went off Pred (for other health reasons) and she broke into a rash herself. It didn't happen until she started to taper. I agree that first you have to rule out other things such as soap, lotion, foods etc. Benedryl does help but any antihistamine will do also. If the rash continues, you should contact your doctor.
