I know many of us are in flares, be it mini or otherwise, and just wanted to check in to see how you all did over the holiday.
For me, my hunger didn't start until we heard a talk show on the radio where all they talked about was turkey, stuffing, etc. I couldn't help but think about it during our entire drive down south - all the while salivating. I had been eating gut friendly food all week...dry toast, applesauce, banana's, rice crackers, PB, etc. and told myself that I would only have a few bites. Well, I think I did pretty good, but the strawberry cake was too good for just one piece. Luckily, the dinner was the worst Turkey dinner both my DH and I ever had so overeating was not an issue. I stayed clear of anything that had nuts in it or anything with whipped cream, but something bothered me and the pudding poo started up again, along with some blood. My cramps are gone and the urgency has subsided again so hopefully I'm on the mend again. I'm back to my gut friendly food this week and back up to 2 Rowasa a day. I only did one a day while gone, but need to get back to my 2 day for the upcoming week.
