you are so right in your observance. i am very worried about the future and want to know everything i can to help her along.
at the same time she is away at school until next week and i have done everything i can to leave her alone about the uc, except when she tells me that it's not stopping and i suggested she get a cbc. otherwise i am digging my nails into my skin, and not letting onto her how nervous i am, hoping that she gets some relief and can hold on until next friday when she will be home and meet her new dr. i
i understand chronic disease. but i am lettiing her discover this in her own time.
your advice is good-thanks

I think your lot may be more difficult than mine. I'd much rather have this DD myself than watch my child try to deal with it. I admire your strength.

Moderate to severe left-sided UC diagnosed 2001.

Current meds are Colazal, Azathioprine and Remicade. Completely off steroids for more than a year now! In remission since April, 2006. Remicade has been my wonder drug.

Now tapering Azathioprine, please pray for me.
