doing a little better but not much.
9/07 proteins were 4.7
10/07 proteins were 3.2
11/07 proteins were 9
12/01 proteins are 6

my albumin is good at 2.5.

The steriods don't seem to be helping me much, have been on them for 3 mos.  Nephrologist says that I need to stay on them for one more month before it's considered a 'failure' and I need to start looking at other options like cellcept (another immunosupressant).   I think I am getting a little better (my urine has been less frothy lately) and the Neph says that the azathioprine could be helping my kidneys too (though I have only been on that for 1.5 mos).

UUUgh, I just want to get better (don't we all though = )

Anyhow, I am hoping next month I'll have better results, though I personally think I am steriod resistant.  I don't think the pred even helped my UC, I think it was the steriod e's that did it.  However, I will taper the pred when the time comes.  Can't wait for that.
